Greg received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado in 1994. He started his career with Archer Daniels Midland in Decatur, IL, where he was the Plant Startup Engineer/Operations Supervisor working with HFCS to vitamin E production.  From there Greg went to PrGGold LLC, Wahpeton, ND, as the Refinery Process Engineer overseeing and implementing ideas during the construction and operation period of the Pro Gold plant.  Greg continued his career  with Cargill (Cargill leased Pro Gold) as Plant Engineer and completed various national and international startups’ for Cargill. Greg’s career continued to thrive at ICM Inc., in Colwich, KS where he was the Director of Technology Integration, and Director of Engineering. Greg was the lead Engineer for ICM’s first green field 20, 50 and 100 MMGPY production facilities and his designs are responsible for over 5 billion gallons of ethanol production. Greg is a Registered Professional Engineer in Kansas, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, North Dakota , South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, Georgia and Minnesota. Greg brings all of his knowledge and experience to IntegroEnergy as a Principal.

 

Daniel W. Sonnek, P.E.

Dan earned his B.S. from South Dakota State University in 1988 and his  M.S., Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Thermal Sciences and Systems from the University of Iowa in 1991.  Dan was an engineer for Archer Daniels Midland, Cedar Rapids, IA  where he was part of an engineering team that erected an 80 MW cogeneration plant.   Continuing his career with ADM, he went to Decatur, IL as the Bioproducts superintendent,  supervising the start‐up and development of the refining process for various amino acids then  took over the expansion of Decatur cogeneration, making it the largest coal‐fired facility in the  nation. Dan left ADM and started a new consulting firm with emphasis in utilities and  processing facilities  which included various services such as plant design, construction, operation and management.  Dan is a Registered Professional Engineer in Minnesota and  Illinois.  As an expert in power generation and renewable fuels, Dan brings more than twenty  years of power plant and process experience to the clients of IntegroEnergy.
